This past weekend was certainly one of the best New York LifeBuilders has seen since being revived just four years ago. With a little over six hundred men and the presence of God, incredible things were bound to happen.
The morning began with an exquisite meal provided by the host, Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook, New York. After the men had time to satisfy their appetites , worship began to erupt from center stage as men throughout the hall lifted their voices and hearts to our Risen King, Jesus Christ.
As the men began to settle in their seats, Dr. Frank Turek stepped into the helm and shared his passion for apologetics. As one of the foremost thinkers and leaders in American apologetics, Dr. Turek spoke boldly and with great precision. He walked his audience through a relevant and much needed message concerning the intricacies of defending one’s faith in God. Dr. Turek blended the Gospel Truth with storytelling and science to convey the heart of a genuine apologist. Men from every walk of life left enriched and encouraged to reach others both spiritually and intellectually with the certainty of Christ. Dr. Turek was a great blessing and a wonderful breath of fresh air to all in attendance.
Following Dr. Turek, the men of New York were given the opportunity to honor our State Administrative Bishop, Andrew Binda. Bishop Binda has served the state of New York for nearly fourteen very productive years. His contributions have elevated New York to new heights, and his passion for ministry has positively impacted countless lives. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy is sure to live on. The breakfast concluded with prayer and a fantastic time of fellowship. Everyone left filled with all the good things God has promised; empowered and charged to be a light in a darkened world.
A very special thanks to: Bishop Andrew Binda, NY Lifebuilders President Noel Francis, The NY LifeBuilders Board, Dr. Frank Turek, NY Apologist Nick Mitchell, NY Apologist Anthony Uvenio, Villa Lombardi’s, and the Pastor’s and Laity of the New York Church of God. To God be the all glory, for this great thing He has done!
